Detour from the mainstream

While I haven't seen Prize Winner, both Waitress and Saint Ralph were very good, if slightly contrived. Waitress was to me a little confusing, in that I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a drama or a quirky comedy, but it did touch on aspects of bad relationships that I think are important to look at, if only to help people get out of them. I wasn't sure what stance the movie took on marriage and cheating, and it never really answered that for me either, other than maybe claiming that "babies fix everything." Again, sweet, but a little chaotic emotionally.

If you liked Saint Ralph you may also like Millions. It had a similar feel.
Have you seen Dear Frankie?
Okay, I now have to see Waitress, as you are the 2nd person that I admire who has suggested giving it a view.
It seemed like the view on infidelity was something along the lines of 'yeah, it's not ideal, but nonetheless, it happens.' It didn't really make marriage look that appealing though, did it? Thanks for mentioning Millions. I'll put it on my list.
Haven't seen it, but I've added it to my Netflix queue. Looks interesting. Thanks.
I hope you'll enjoy it, RPM.
i loved waitress. i saw it on a plane ride.
been looking for the soundtrack but no luck.
did you know the woman who wrote, directed
and was in the film (the shorter quirky femme)
got murdered right before the film's release?

truly tragic.
[this is good]
Following your recommendation I've just seen 'Waitress" and I must admit that I had great fun with that movie. Thanks for sharing!
I saw Waitress and enjoyed it immensely.
