Writing prompts - shut down

shouldn't take long with that type of motivation. lol
I bet she wrote the note to her husband...
Great scene...I like the twist that it was only electronics and nobody's life was in danger....well may his social life....hahahaha....
terrific! good job, fun lil' tale! {p.s. funny you posted a writing prompt, that matter came up just today with someone. btw, do you know creativewritingprompts.com? some of those are fun.}
In my mind, it was a note from a mom to a son, but a wife-to-husband communique also works.
Thanks. I'd never visited that site before. Looks like it could be fun. I appreciate the link.
Yes, quite effective, I'd think.
Def a teenage son / mother situation here. I know. I have actually done this. And now, because my two eldest lads are doing nothing, and I mean nothing, towards getting gainful employment, they are moving into the smallest bedroom and Daughter is getting the bigger room. Hey, she has a job!

Does this make me wicked?
Actually, I knew it was from a mother to her son. I just said the wife to the husband to be silly... : )
Not wicked at all. A real life lesson....those who have a job and pay their way can have nicer things.
LOL! I think if I did this to my husband, he would kill me before he completed the tasks! Teenagers still have that nagging doubt that you really might not return it.
[esto es genial]
Beautifully executed prompt, compelling storyline, love the ode to technology & the "lifeforce" held at ransom... ;o)

LOL. totally believable.

and hopefully effective!

The police would be on the side of the kidnapper, of course:

"Sir, we'd like to inspect your litter box, if you don't mind. No judge would deny us a search warrant, in case you were thinking to ask."

[this is good]
That is awesome... I could've used that note with a past boyfriend of mine. LOL.
